Kloqlee terms of use
Last updated 20 July 2026
These terms cover your use of Kloqlee. They are deliberately short, because Kloqlee is a small app that keeps everything on your own device: there are no accounts, no servers and nothing to sign up for.
Apple’s own Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to every app on the App Store, including this one. These terms sit alongside it and add the two things it does not cover: what happens with audio you bring into the app, and what an alarm can and cannot promise.
What Kloqlee is
An alarm clock and reminder app for iPhone. You install it, set alarms, and everything you create stays on your device.
Alarms are best effort, not a guarantee
Kloqlee asks iOS to ring your alarms and iOS decides what actually happens. An alarm can fail to wake you for reasons entirely outside the app’s control: the phone is off, the battery is flat, permissions were declined or later revoked, iOS ends the app, Focus or accessibility settings intervene, the device is muted in a way that overrides the alarm, or a bug in the app or in iOS itself.
Do not rely on Kloqlee alone for anything you cannot afford to miss. For a flight, an exam, medication that must be taken at a fixed time, or anything with a real cost attached, set a second alarm on another device.
To the extent the law allows, Kloqlee is provided as-is, and the developer is not liable for any loss arising from an alarm or reminder that did not ring, rang late, or rang when you did not expect it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and nothing here affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
Sounds you record or import
Kloqlee lets you record your own voice and import audio files you already have, and use them as alarm tones.
- You are responsible for having the right to use what you import. Kloqlee does not and cannot check who owns a file you choose. Do not import audio you are not permitted to use.
- Copy-protected audio is refused. Kloqlee will not import DRM-protected music, and will not attempt to work around that protection.
- Imported audio stays on your device. It is converted, stored inside the app’s own storage, and never uploaded. Kloqlee has no way to send it anywhere, to another device, or to another person — it is deliberately left out of the backup file the app can export.
- Deleting Kloqlee deletes it. Recordings and imported sounds live in the app’s storage, so removing the app removes them. Keep your own copy of anything you would miss.
Kloqlee Pro
Pro is a single purchase that unlocks the paid features permanently. There is no subscription and nothing to cancel.
Payment, receipts and refunds are handled by Apple, not by the developer. Requests for a refund go through Apple. “Restore purchase”, in Settings, will re-unlock Pro on a device where you have already bought it.
What you may not do
Do not attempt to unlock paid features without paying for them, and do not redistribute the app or its bundled sounds as your own. The alarm tones that ship with Kloqlee were made for it and are not licensed for use elsewhere.
Changes
If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them. Continuing to use the app after that means the new version applies.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Greece, without affecting any consumer protections you are entitled to where you live.
